Update: How Have Our Painted Tile Floors Held Up?

Two and a half years ago, I painted the tile floors in our home. And ever since, I've received numerous requests for a video update on how well they've held up.

For those who missed that project, here's a quick recap: our home is older and the first floor is covered in outdated brown tiles that always look dirty and worn, no matter how much we clean them. While we have big plans to eventually replace the tile with wood flooring, we can’t do that until larger renovation projects—like moving walls—are completed. So, in the meantime, we decided to give tile paint a try as a quick, affordable solution.

It sounded like a great idea—much easier and cheaper than tearing up the old tile and redoing the entire floor. But the big question is: was it worth it? Have the painted tiles held up over time? And how do they handle daily wear from dogs, furniture, cleaning, and constant foot traffic?

I've addressed all these questions, and give a look at the floor today in my update video HERE!
